Guy Gravett Travel and Documentary archive

This gallery will show images from Guy Gravetts extensive working travels through The Middle East and Alaska. Guy was commissioned, throughout the 1960's, by amongst others, BP, to document early oil exploration in the region. In doing so, not only did he capture imagery of the industrial changes to the region, but scenes of life in general in a region now changed beyond recognition.

At this time, I am still researching the origins of these images, and so additional information is not yet available.....For now, just enjoy the images, some of which are suffering from the deteriorating effects of vinegar syndrome, but will, in time, be fully restored.
